Traditio I Teacher (7th-8th Grade) Literature, Theology & History (Temporary Need: Sept.26-Jan 9)
Location: Kennewick, WA
Position Type: Part-Time
Start Date: Fall 2025
Coram Deo Academy is seeking a thoughtful and passionate Traditio I Teacher to lead 7th-8th grade students through an integrated course in literature, theology, and history. This class emphasizes deep reading, rich discussion, and thoughtful writing. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about engaging students with classic works of faith and story—focussed on ancient works—while also training them in writing through the IEW method.
Responsibilities:
- Guide students through substantial reading assignments and lead class discussions
- Teach literature (including Aesops's Fabels, Gilgamesh, and others) with biblical integration
- Lead students in writing instruction using IEW methods
- Cultivate habits of careful thought, clear communication, and Christ-centered imagination
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Literature, Theology, History, Education, or related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with ancient works and Christian classical education
- Passion for discussion-based learning and student writing development
- Strong Christian faith and alignment with Coram Deo Academy’s mission

Math Logic Teacher (Pre-Algebra, Grades 6–7) (Temporary Need: Sept.26-Jan 9)
Location: Kennewick, WA
Position Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 11:10 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.
Start Date: Fall 2025
Coram Deo Academy is seeking a dedicated and creative Math Logic Teacher to lead a pre-algebra course for 6th–7th grade students (temporary: Sept.26-Jan 9). This class emphasizes problem-solving, logical reasoning, and the application of mathematical concepts to real-world situations. The ideal candidate will inspire students to see math not only as a subject of numbers but as a tool for clear thinking and faithful living.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Math Logic (pre-algebra) to grades 6–7, four days per week (Tuesday–Friday)
- Develop problem-solving skills through hands-on examples and applied projects
- Connect mathematical concepts to everyday life and practical reasoning
- Encourage logical thinking and perseverance in challenging problems
- Maintain a structured, encouraging, and Christ-centered classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field (preferred)
- Experience teaching or tutoring middle school math
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Grammar Level Substitute Teacher (Grades K–5)

Coram Deo Academy is seeking dependable and mission-aligned Substitute Teachers to support our Grammar Level classrooms (grades K–5). Ideal candidates will love working with children, uphold classroom order, and joyfully continue the plans left by our full-time teachers—all while supporting our classical and Christ-centered culture.
Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom instruction based on lesson plans left by the teacher
- Maintain a structured, respectful, and orderly environment
- Uphold biblical principles and the school’s expectations
- Communicate effectively with staff and students
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or higher (college degree preferred)
- Experience with children or classroom environments

Logic Level Substitute Teacher (Grades 6–8)

Position Type: On-Call / Part-Time

Coram Deo Academy is looking for thoughtful and grounded Substitute Teachers for Logic Level classes (grades 6–8). Substitutes at this level should be confident in leading older students, managing classroom discussions, and continuing academic momentum when a full-time teacher is absent.
Responsibilities:
- Follow lesson plans and maintain continuity of instruction
- Supervise and engage middle school students in core academic subjects
- Maintain order and reinforce classroom expectations
- Uphold the school’s mission and theological integrity
Qualifications:
